Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Contingent Option 1: Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse. (Refer to Job Description, Registered Nurse, F02426).

Location: Henry Ford Maplegrove Center 6773 W Maple Road West Bloomfield, MI 48322

Hours: Varies depending on dept needs. Cover vacations, call-offs, weekends and coverage during peak times as needed

This position is required to cover one spring/summer holiday and one fall/winter holiday

Orientation: Must be available for full time orientation Monday-Friday 1^st week of employment
