As a Security Guard - Unarmed Driver Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a residential community, where you will help maintain an orderly environment through routine vehicle patrols, high-visibility presence, and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor for maintenance issues and other hazards during patrols and report findings to the appropriate property contact and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate key information during post handoffs, and support security-related operations in coordination with onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
