Description

We're seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Analyst with at least three years of handson experience and recent exposure to Epic Security. This role requires current Cadence and Security certifications and offers the opportunity to support both operational excellence and strategic initiatives across our Epic environment.


What You'll Do

  • Configure and maintain User Security Classes, user records, and related security components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakfix service tickets with a focus on accuracy and customer service
  • Support project work in both CRM and build analyst capacities
  • Perform administrative responsibilities, which may include leading meetings, preparing materials, and presenting to governance groups
  • Partner closely with operational stakeholders to understand needs, maintain strong relationships, and ensure alignment across teams


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of handson Epic Cadence experience
  • Recent experience working with Epic Security
  • Epic Cadence and Security certifications (required)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational leaders and end users
  • A proactive, selfdirected approach-someone who identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and reduce technical debt

You'll play a key role in ensuring our scheduling and security workflows run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your work directly supports clinicians, staff, and patients by helping us maintain a reliable, wellgoverned Epic environment.

This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite as required by operational need; there are no reimbursements for travel to "home office" location. Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $105,700 - $234,500 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately below the midpoint.

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement within the state of California. The selected candidate must reside within the state of California or be willing to relocate.

Please note this role is in the process of accretion and will be union represented.

Qualifications

Epic Cadence Certified - minimum 3 years recent hands-on
experience

Epic Security Certified - preferred minimum 2 years recent
hands-on experience

Required Skills and Abilities


  • Must have or
    acquire certifications required to support the applications. If Analyst
    does not yet hold needed certifications, they will be required to travel
    to Wisconsin and attend Epic Certification training sessions. Analyst
    required to achieve certification within three months of the last class
    and three exam attempts.
  • Broad and/or
    in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty
    areas. Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development,
    implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance,
    and system testing and evaluation.
  • Ability to
    research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective
    decision making.
  • Must be detail
    oriented and have a knack for probing for information, in order to fully
    understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be
    configured/ organized.
  • Ability to
    manage multiple and competing tasks.
  • Ability to work
    effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at
    all levels.

    leadership skills and strong customer service orientation.

    organizational skills.
  • Strong written

Required Knowledge and Experience


  • Demonstrate
    proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes
    Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems.
  • Demonstrated
    skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design.
  • Bachelor's Degree
    in health care information technology, computer science, or related area,
    and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
  • Three years of
    experience in a healthcare related organization.
