Maintenance Mechanic - Truss Plant

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support daily operations in a fast-paced truss manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on truss manufacturing equipment, saws, presses, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues to minimize downtime

• Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities

• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and plant improvements

• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude; basic electrical and welding skills a plus

• Ability to read schematics and maintenance manuals

• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Perform regularly scheduled maintenance of all equipment/machinery.

Maintain equipment/machinery within tolerance of quality standards.

Train operators on correct operating and maintenance procedures.

Audit daily checks.

Maintain safe work/machine environment

Able to read and write in their primary language.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift 50 pounds.
