HR Project Specialist

Location: Arden Hills, MI (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

A leading organization is seeking an HR Project Specialist to support a high-impact, multi-year Growth Mindset and cultural transformation initiative within Human Resources. This role plays a key part in coordinating cross-functional projects, strengthening project management practices, and ensuring successful execution of change management and process improvement efforts.

The Project Specialist will work closely with HR leaders, project managers, and internal stakeholders to support planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement across multiple initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven project coordinator or project analyst with strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support and implement standard project management processes, tools, and best practices
  • Manage 1-2 process improvement or integration projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and deliverables
  • Consolidate project updates into program-level and senior leadership reports
  • Facilitate project planning sessions and post-project reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and document requirements
  • Support adoption of project management and collaboration technologies
  • Ensure work aligns with established quality system requirements



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience (MBA with 1-3 years also considered)
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Coordinator or Project Specialist experience
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project collaboration tools
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
