Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: White River Junction, VT 05001 Duration: 03 Months to long term Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:30 AM - 05:30 PM) Pay rate: $30.00 - $35.00/Hour Role & Responsibilities: Perform chairside dental assistant duties for all phases of dentistry. Responsible for assisting the dentist and dental hygienist by preparing patients and instruments for dental treatment, measure and record vital signs, adjust treatment as needed to account for age specific needs of geriatric patients, and operate dental x-ray equipment, including evaluating images for diagnostic quality and utilizing dental imaging safety techniques. Responsible for receiving and routing patients, recording information related to patient care, and providing patients with education material and proper verbal and written instructions related to their care. Assist with electronic health/dental records, updating charts and treatment notes and lab prescriptions as requested by the dentist or dental hygienist. Support clinic operations and patient workflows for the dentist and dental hygienist. Assist in identifying inefficiencies with the pilot program. Document and communicate changes to processes and ensure all internal and external stakeholders are aware of updates. Assist in developing and implementing quality control measures to ensure consistent and high-quality dental treatment. Assist in preparing reports to summarize dental care activities and performance metrics. Requirements: Dental Assistant License. BLS/CPR Certificate.
