JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Collect and sort daily oil sample shipments from customers while maintaining assigned laboratory
  • Provide direct correspondence to internal and external customers regarding fluid analysis data, trend analysis, maintenance, and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain customer information and asset information in SOS Service Manager.
  • Interpret analysis provided by CAT on all samples. Analyze equipment trends in general and develop "norms" which reflect local geographic, operating and maintenance conditions.
  • Correlate results with components, metallurgical, operational, lubrication, and maintenance information.
  • Report resultant evaluation and recommendations by means of printed customer reports or email to internal and external customers.
  • Investigate, communicate, and follow up with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate abnormal trend data to CAT.
  • Additional duties may be assigned to help expand your skills and contribute to evolving business needs.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience is preferred and/or equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Windows based applications, data entry and email.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
