Position Summary

The person in this position performs required quality audits to ensure designed specifications and custom requirements are met. They are part of a response team that initiates an investigation when quality concerns arise on the production floor. Responsible to enter incident reports and work directly with quality engineers to coordinate resolutions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reads test schedules, work orders, and performance specifications to determine audit procedure
  • Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration in allotted time
  • Records audit results and notes assembly deficiencies
  • Tags and tallies all defective material
  • Creates Quality Incident reports for nonconforming product
  • Quarantines damaged and malfunctioning components
  • Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding audit procedures and results to resolve problems
    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • One to three years technical experience

    Education:

    • High School Graduate or equivalent

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Ability to properly read work orders, blueprints, and schematics
    • Basic computer and windows skills
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
