CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Bridge Project Manager to join our Bridge Team in Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC, where you will apply your technical insight, leadership, and strategic vision across a diverse portfolio of bridge and structural engineering projects. This is your opportunity to guide major initiatives, influence evolving design practices, and deliver enduring infrastructure that enhances mobility and connects people to opportunity.



What You'll Do:

    Manage all aspects of bridge project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measures
  • Serve as a "seller/doer," developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areas
  • Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team
  • Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
  • Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards
  • Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are met


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years' progressive engineering experience; minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Expert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areas
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Experience delivering and winning work from SCDOT
  • Bridge design experience with management background required
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferred
  • Deep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processes
  • Experience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contracts
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

Salary Range:

$150,000 - $170,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
