What you will do:

The Program Support Specialist provides oversight and responsibility for management of the portfolio of projects executed and managed by JCI. They are responsible for providing regular project communications, both internally and externally, to appropriate stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Working under the direction of a Division Operations Manager, the Program Support Specialist provides a single point of contact to clients for resolution of assigned project and operational issues, and performs periodic project and program reviews, making recommendations for improvement and coordinating the implementation of those recommendations. Actively participates in sequencing projects, adjusting timelines, and modifying scope documents to achieve Program objectives. This position is fully remote, supporting client programs and field operations as needed.

How you will do it:

  • Understand client program objectives and align operational support activities to meet those objectives. Assist in the establishment of Program standards, policies, and processes, ensuring alignment across all individual projects.

  • Facilitate communication with clients and internal JCI stakeholders. Regularly engage clients to maintain awareness of perceptions, needs, challenges, and potential business opportunities.

  • Take ownership of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Advocate for the client while providing counsel when program improvements require client-side changes. Strive to achieve trusted advisor status.

  • Monitor and provide oversight of projects, regularly compiling and communicating information related to critical activities, resources, and timelines.

  • Create executive-level dashboards to report overall Program Health.

  • Partner with the Strategic Account Manager and Program Manager to actively contribute to regular performance reviews with key stakeholders. Act as liaison between clients, Sales, COEs, Field Delivery Teams, and Business Partners when reviewing or revising program elements.

  • Adhere to and contribute to the program management plan.

  • Initiate program projects and ensure adequate program support.

  • Monitor program performance against plan and ensure benefits are identified, tracked, and realized.

  • Assist in identifying program-level risks and manage mitigation efforts.

  • Provide support, mentoring, and guidance to project managers.

  • Report project status to program executives (regional director).

  • Monitor and control project performance and operate within a controlled project environment (Playbook requirements).

  • Develop and maintain a project scoreboard.

What we look for:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience performing functional program management in a complex physical security environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years of physical security experience, including regular interaction with general contractors, property managers, and client stakeholders, with strong understanding of both installation and service operations.

  • Strong leadership skills, including at least 3 years of experience managing professionals in a construction setting, with knowledge of permitting and union environments.

  • Self-starter with the ability to evaluate processes and drive continuous improvement methodologies, including the execution of a formal quality assurance program.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to lead meetings representing both JCI and client physical security organizations.

  • Technical expertise, including certification or exposure to enterprise-wide access control and video systems.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adjust labor efforts to fluctuating demands, and the ability to collaborate closely with sales and program leadership.

  • Ability to create and lead QBR efforts and communicate effectively with regional and global client/JCI stakeholders to ensure best practices and consistency.

  • Experience using project management portfolio tools or MS Project.

  • Desired background in IT and engineering environments.

  • Project management certification preferred; if not currently held, enrollment in a certification program will be required.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $105,000 to $145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,
knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market
data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group,
and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The
posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize
