Work Location: Onsite - FPS Facilities

Dress Code: Business casual (DHS policy)


Contingent on Contract Award: This position is proposed in response to a federal solicitation and is contingent upon contract award, funding, and successful completion of DHS suitability requirements.

Position Summary

The Junior Analyst provides administrative and analytical support to FPS Region 2 CORs, Task Managers, and PSO Program leadership. The role supports contract administration, operational reporting, and day-to-day program execution for the Protective Security Officer (PSO) Program in accordance with FPS policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and administrative documentation.
  • Gather, assemble, analyze, and report operational and contract-related data.
  • Support requirements processing, including cost estimate development and requisition preparation.
  • Track and compile data related to performed hours, prohibited items, post inspections, and incident reports.
  • Perform COR Management Tool (CMT) data entry, as required.
  • Review contractor timesheets and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track PSO training, licensing, and qualification requirements.
  • Assist with administrative audits, performance monitoring reports, and contract closeout activities.
  • Provide reception and general office support, including phone coverage, visitor processing, mail handling, and file maintenance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with federal personnel.



Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or Technical Training (minimum); Associate degree preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience (2-3 years preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to quickly learn FPS, DHS, and contract-specific systems and processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with federal law enforcement personnel and management
