DIVISION CHIEF OF UROGYNECOLOGY - DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
The University of New Mexico Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Division Chief of Urogynecology. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a mission-driven academic medical center committed to advancing Urogynecologic care and improving health outcomes for women across New Mexico. We are seeking a Urogynecology division chief that will contribute actively to the climate of inclusivity, a physician leader who excels in clinical care, education, research and collaboration and who is eager to shape the future of a growing division in a diverse community. The Urogynecology Division has an established ACGME accredited fellowship, a busy clinical and surgical practice and is active in research and education. The successful Division Chief candidate will provide strategic leadership to grow and strengthen the Urogynecology Division's clinical, educational, and research programs. They will oversee high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure excellence across clinical services. The successful candidate will partner with departmental and institutional leaders to set priorities, allocate resources, and drive divisional and departmental goals. They will mentor and support learners and faculty while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: * Eligible to work in the United States * MD or DO degree or equivalent * Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology * Completion of a Fellowship or advanced training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS). * Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration Preferred Qualifications: * Experience teaching students and residents * Clinical skills and scholarly activity * Experience working within a managed care environment * Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment * Experience or interest in research activity and career development * A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
