Leads MRI technologists and support staff in MRI imaging services and associated patient care which support the Radiology Department mission to provide diagnostic information for the subsequent treatment of patients. Insures quality of MRI imaging services provided and coordinates the daily operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). MD: No state license is required OH: No state license is required PA: No state license is required WV: MRI Technologist License through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners 3.Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. ARRT Certification in Radiography.
