We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to support our software development team in developing our enterprise software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading software projects from initiation to completion. This position demands a blend of technical and managerial skills to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to internal quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with the developers, test engineers, and business analysts to support establishing the product requirements, set deadlines, and monitor all progress. The ideal candidate will also communicate with external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide regular project updates and be the point of contact for the software projects.

We are seeking a hard-working and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, high-energy environment. Our ideal candidate has a passion for software development, a hunger to take on challenging and exciting projects as well as an unrelenting drive to learn and lead others. This position is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite at the Hercules, CA office.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Support defining the project scope and objectives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plan and project schedules.
  • Support coordinating internal resources & third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Monitor and track project progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Maintain and manage all project action items.
  • Report and escalate project issues to management as needed.
  • Manage creation, review, and approval of all project documentation.
  • Interface with external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide regular project updates.
  • Ensure the projects meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Mentor and guide project team members.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Manage projects to successful completion.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Run regular scrum ceremonies for software development teams.
  • Understand and coach teams to maintain scrum process.
  • Ensure blockers for team members are removed in a timely manner.
  • Manage sprint work to ensure teams meet sprint commitments.
  • Monitor and manage sprint and team KPIs/metrics.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or similar degree. PMP Certified required.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience managing multiple software development projects.
  • Certified Scrum Master a plus.
  • Experience as a scrum master is a plus, but if not, then desire to learn is a must.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with SmartSheet Gantt chart capabilities.
  • Understanding of Jira and Confluence tools are a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with risk management and quality standards.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices is a must.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $133,900 to $184,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
