A Sr. Mobile Inspector functions as an advanced member of the Manheim mobile inspections team for a designated region with the primary responsibilities of conducting vehicle condition inspections a client's lot. Their core skill is to provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition within the parameters of a Manheim inspection. This position will build trust with clients, engage to help them see the value in the Manheim Marketplace, and to request more inventory to be inspected by providing quality and timely inspections.
As a Sr. Mobile Inspector, this role is expected to work with little guidance and can solve problems with minimal oversight. They will assist with junior inspectors as they gain inspection experience and build client relationships. This inspector must reside in Bronx, NY. To be considered for this position, you must currently hold - or be willing to obtain - a NY State Body Damage Estimator license and/or a NY State Independent Auto Damage & Theft Adjuster license. If your certification has expired, you can also become re-certified to meet the qualifications for this role. Primary Duties & Key Responsibilities
Required Experience & Specialist Knowledge and Skills
Additional Requirements: The New York State DMV Body Damage Estimator License * Requires someone to have 12 months of Auto Body Estimating experience prior to applying for the license. The estimating skills can be from an Auto Body shop, Auto Dealership, Auction, or Insurance Company. * A candidate applies with verified credentials to the DMV and pays a fee for license with a completed application. The candidate is also required to have a valid NYS Drivers license in good standing to be eligible for the DMV Estimator's License. * This license is valid for 3 years before needing to be renewed. The NY State Independent Auto Damage & Theft Adjuster's License * Requires a candidate to be proficient in Regulation 64 - which is the ability to exercise specific standards of NYS insurance law to manage and settle physical damage claims based on 1st and 3rd party collision, property, theft, or injury claims. * A state Insurance Exam needs to betaken, along with a character background check, and fingerprint card submission to the State Insurance Department. * This is an Insurance Adjuster's License similar to what an employee of any insurance carrier would require to appraise auto body damages in NY State. * This license is valid for 2 years before needing to be renewed. YDGCOX USD 19.76 - 29.66 per hour Compensation: Hourly pay rate is $19.76 - $29.66/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of . Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
