Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Administrative Manager - Primary Care - Mineola.

In this role, the successful candidate will report directly to the Sr Admin Director, and has the overall responsibility to plan, organize and direct the operations as assigned. This position oversees academics and practice operations, in order to achieve institutional short and/or long term goals, ensuring that all assigned projects and initiatives comply with deadlines and leadership expectations. Assures that academic/hospital/office policies and procedures are adhered to, and promotes the efficiency and profitability of the practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Peoplesoft HCM (MSS)
    • Generate physician contracts (CAR/FRO) for busy Medicine practice +195 providers 25+ a month
    • Create positions, transfers, terminations and manage LOAs for APPS, admin staff, and physicians
    • Compliance reports for 195+ physicians (flu, Doximity, physician profiles, FOCUS courses, AHA, FIT testing)
  • MyTime Management for department
  • Manage academic/admin staff under the Department of Medicine (14 positions)
    • Monthly update meetings
    • Monthly 1:1s
    • Update meetings with GME office
  • Finance/budget
    • Hyperion and PBI
    • Knowledge of Business expense policy
    • Management of Hospital and SOM02 budgets totaling 11 chart strings
    • 1:1 department specific budget/finance training with ability to create department specific tip sheets
    • Hold lunch & learns on various finance/budget topics
    • CFO report monitoring and go-to for all coordinator finance questions
  • LI Campus Administrative Lead - Joint Commission Palliative Care re-certification survey
  • Operational support for Sleep lab, APP, and hospitalist division
    • EPIC, MSS, MyTime
    • Support with accreditations/recruiting
    • Compliance reports
    • Executing wellness events based off budget

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a minimum of five years management experience in a clinical department ; excellent communication skills and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:
. Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent management experience in a clinical setting. Masters Preferred

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,710.42 - $130,515.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
