The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering student to support power system studies across the power and renewables markets. In this role, you will be trained to perform engineering studies using industry-standard tools such as ETAP, EasyPower, PSSE, and other power system analysis software while working alongside experienced engineers.

You will contribute to real-world projects involving renewable (wind, solar, and storage) system studies. As project workload allows, interns may also gain exposure to additional areas of power system analysis, design, and testing. This internship offers hands-on engineering experience and practical application of academic coursework within a leading consulting engineering environment.

What You'll Do



  • Support power system studies related to renewable energy project design
  • Learn and apply power system analysis tools including ETAP, EasyPower, PSSE, and other software packages
  • Assist engineers with load flow studies, model building, arc flash studies, short circuit studies, ect..
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project deliverables
  • Apply power systems theory to real-world engineering challenges

What We Expect from You



  • Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering by Summer 2026
  • Previous or current coursework in power system analysis (preferred)
  • Strong interest in power systems, and renewable energy
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Experience with PSSE or other load-flow software is a plus, but not required
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be available to work full-time Summer 2026
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation for this role is $29/hr.
