We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator to join our dynamic team in the coastal region of Maine. This role focuses on providing education, training, and support for nursing staff. The educator will collaborate with clinical teams to ensure evidence-based practices, promote professional development, and enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates have expertise in clinical education and a passion for teaching, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
