As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control access to restricted areas.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the financial institution environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Follow all company and client protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
