Laboratory Management and Maintenance Assist with ordering and tracking laboratory supplies to ensure smooth operation Coordinate repair and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment; perform routine technical tasks Supervise junior lab members and graduate students; assist in experimental planning and interpretation of results. Support the implementation of new procedures and protocols; contribute to the development and refinement of experimental methodologies. Assist with preparation and maintenance of animal protocols and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) approvals Research Activities Muscle Regeneration Studies:Conduct muscle injury experiments and analyze regeneration using histopathological techniques. Single-Cell Omics:Perform single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), single-cell ATAC-seq (scATAC-seq), and single-cell ChIP-seq (scChIP-seq) under the supervision of Dr. Sun. Cell culture work:Establish and maintain stable cell lines with overexpression or depletion of genes of interest to the labs research focus. Animal Work:Maintain mouse colonies, perform genotyping, and assist with in vivo experimental procedures. Method Development:Contribute to the development of novel research techniques and methodologies relevant to the labs focus. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $41,340.00 - $61,405.80 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
