Job Description




As a Security Guard - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment for employees and visitors, while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is an unarmed, driving position that requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter of the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards while patrolling the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
  • Support access control processes by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
