As a Security Officer - Logistics Center Patrols in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Document observations, incidents, or any unusual activities according to company and site requirements.
• Communicate with site management, Allied Universal supervision, and public authorities as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Support the control of access and egress, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency preparedness drills and participate in security-related training sessions as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
