ERICSSON SMART FACTORY INC. seeks a 5G Program Manager in Lewisville, TX; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget to establish and maintain a 5G private network..

What you will do:

Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as a point of contact between Ericsson and customer teams. Establish and drive a roadmap of projects which will connect all production technology to the Factory 5G private network. Leverage Performance Indicators to evaluate the success of the legacy Factory network and measure the same indicators to prove the improved value delivered by the 5G private network. Propose and refine use cases that will expand the 5G private network or leverage the network to enhance the Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of our Production process. Work with Ericsson and external teams to evaluate 5G device fit-for-purpose to each use-case scenario. Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop business requirements, the scope, the deliverables, the required resources, the work plan, the budget, and the sequence of activities. Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate cross-project initiatives such as cost tracking, resource planning and forecasting, and ramp-up planning. Work with Project Managers and 5G Engineers to identify and mitigate risks that may impact the Program Work with Project Managers and 5G Engineers to identify and capitalize on opportunities that may increase the Return on Investment of the Program. Ensure appropriate communication to sponsors, managers, and all stakeholders. Coach and mentor project managers in project management processes and best practices, enabling successful execution of project deliverables. Drive continuous improvement activities within the Program scope. Implement appropriate Program success metrics and ensure measurement and tracking of the same. As part of closing the Program, document Program lessons learned and any opportunities to be considered as a future project. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.

You will bring:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field and 4 years of experience in a technical project manager or RF engineer role.

2 years of experience in:

1. RF Design across multiple geographical areas at the same time
2. RF optimization and Initial tuning across multiple geographical areas at the same time
3. Designing and optimizing networks to achieve challenging KPI targets
4. Defining the technical requirements for implementing the mobile communication technologies (5G)
5. Defining the ticketing process and workflow between stakeholders and providing the requirements for ticketing dashboards
6. Planning, deployment, optimization, and performance monitoring in the mobile communication field
7. Developing accurate proposals and designs to meet customer needs
8. Managing the Scope, cost, quality of service/ product and milestones.
