JOB TITLE: HR ADMINISTRATOR II

DEPARTMENT: HR

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF HR

CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT

LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD, MD

STATUS: FULL TIME

JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Administrator II provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and serves as a cross-functional resource for Front Desk, IT, and Security when needed. This role is an excellent entry point into HR and focuses on handling day-to-day HR processes, employee support, data accuracy, and maintaining a positive employee experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining records, preparing documents, and supporting employee-related processes.
  • Help coordinate various HR activities such as onboarding, recruitment logistics, compliance tasks, and employee communications.
  • Assist with compliance tracking, including certifications, training requirements, I-9 audits, and background checks.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in HR systems and support data audits as needed.
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Provide front desk support when needed
  • Provide general administration support to IT and Security team as requested
  • Support cross-departmental processes that involve HR, IT, and Security to maintain smooth operations
  • Assist with travel arrangements and event planning.
  • Support document management and filing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED and 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting multiple departments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing work environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
