Partner with the best In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Planning and scheduling material/production needs. Developing a year plan for (a part) of the manufacturing organization. Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working. As a Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for: Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements. Redefining processes and procedures on a regular basis and require frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance) Handles latitude in manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how. Leads a small manufacturing unit with a budget > 1.5 million. To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing). Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution. Strong SAP Material and Inventory management experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
