In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Planning and scheduling material/production needs. Developing a year plan for (a part) of the manufacturing organization. Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.

As a Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.

  • Redefining processes and procedures on a regular basis and require frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance)

  • Handles latitude in manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.

  • Leads a small manufacturing unit with a budget > 1.5 million.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).

  • Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.

  • Strong SAP Material and Inventory management experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.

  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
