The SAP FICO expert will serve as Business Process Leader in Finance IT owning end-to-end business processes across the SAP landscape. The individual will collaborate with SAP Program & Operations teams across various P&L and geographical locations to promote process standardization, synergy and compliance with local and Global statutory regulations. Long term strategic planning & contribution to the overall governance and compliance strategy is key part of this role.

As a SAP FICO expert, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of integrated SAP solutions for multiple ERP projects across Baker Hughes businesses while working with Program Managers, functional owners, service providers, and other members of the SAP Solution Center/DevOps.
• Owning complete solutions for end-to-end business processes in Finance & Controlling, including prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, data migration, documentation, and post go-live support.
• Understanding the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution.
• Having thorough knowledge of SAP New GL and a good understanding of cross-functional business processes like Make to Order, Make to Stock, etc.
• Leading the functional specification/design of interfaces (with the integration team), data conversions, and reports for Finance, and being accountable for FI-related interfaces with external systems and cross-module integration with other SAP modules.
• Driving SAP best practice standards across the Baker Hughes SAP landscape, ensuring efficient and maintainable solutions are implemented, and taking complete accountability for the quality of solutions delivered by the program and operations team.
• Engaging stakeholders proactively to identify opportunities for business process optimization.
• Ensuring the delivery of SOX-compliant business solutions.
• Monitoring continuously for new developments in SAP technology and exploring opportunities for business process optimization.
• Maintaining effective relationships across a distributed functional and global team in a matrix environment to build an integrated solution.
• Assisting the leadership team in building a multi-year ERP vision/strategy for the organization by aligning SAP technology with business goals.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Information technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ERP implementations or equivalent
• Proven experience in designing and configuring SAP ECC 6.0 FICO and cross-functional business solutions and system integrations.
• At least 3 years of functional experience in respective domains (SAP)
• Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks & impacts, define alternatives to remove technical roadblocks.
• Experience in leading globally distributed teams and working with multi-cultural environment
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast paced ecosystem
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, Self-starter
• Able to travel overseas for work as needed
• Strong interaction with Business/Finance Functions
