Director of National Accounts

Ready to lead, innovate, and win? We're looking for a dynamic leader to drive growth in our National Accounts segment. In this role, you'll lead a high-performing team focused on expanding existing partnerships and securing new logos. You'll set bold strategies, embrace cutting-edge technology to build powerful pipelines, and deliver results that matter.

As the face of our organization to senior corporate, franchise, and procurement leaders, you'll leverage data-driven insights to protect and grow our base. You'll negotiate complex contracts, identify new opportunities, and inspire your team to exceed ambitious targets.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 annually, plus uncapped commission. The commission target at goal is 50% of the base salary. Please note that the base salary will vary based on geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience.

Location and Travel

This position can be based anywhere in the continental US and expected travel is 75%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate a strategic mindset, constantly analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities, develop innovative sales strategies, and build your pipeline of New Business.

  • Results Orientation: Display a relentless focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth for existing national accounts, while aggressively building a pipeline of new customers.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging cross-functional collaboration within the sales team and with other departments to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Sales Leadership: Lead a team of sales professionals resulting in high engagement and successfully achieving sales targets.

  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to articulate sales strategies, convey value propositions, and influence stakeholders at national accounts.

  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges, make informed decisions, and resolve issues that may arise in the sales process.

  • Continuous Learning and Development: Embrace a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for self-improvement, staying updated on industry trends, and encouraging the professional development of the sales team.

  • Customer Leadership: Actively engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers at national accounts, fostering strong relationships based on trust, credibility, and mutual understanding.

  • Ethical Conduct: Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all business dealings, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Strategic Selling and Negotiations experience.

  • Proven experience in sales management.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving sales targets

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools (Salesforce preferred)

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience selling to national accounts in the food service industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or 10+ years of experience in relevant sales leadership roles (Master's degree preferred).

  • Ability to travel 75% required
