As an FP&A Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. Working closely with experienced financial professionals, you'll help provide the insights that shape key business decisions. This internship offers the opportunity to strengthen your analytical, technical, and communication skills while learning how financial data drives strategic success in a leading financial institution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, including variance and trend analysis.

  • Support the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by gathering and organizing financial data.

  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to support scenario planning and business performance evaluation.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial research to identify cost trends and efficiency opportunities.

  • Partner with FP&A team members to compile data for management presentations and performance reviews.

  • Validate data accuracy across financial systems and reports.

  • Interpret and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business results.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance financial planning and reporting efficiency.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program (sophomore, junior, or senior standing).

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Interest in finance, accounting, or business analytics.

Preferred:

  • Coursework or prior internship experience in finance, accounting, or economics.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling or business performance metrics.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
