Job Summary:



  • The Supervisor, Provider Enrollment will be responsible for managing the daily activities of Provider Enrollment (Government Payer) staff, including scheduling of work, monitoring workloads, assigning priorities, auditing team members' work, and establishing goals (KPIs - Key Performance Indicators).
  • The Supervisor is responsible for ongoing report generation and data accuracy.
  • This position will participate in developing and updating procedures, as well as organizing training for new hires.
  • The Supervisor is responsible for promoting collegiality and team participation in support of University and departmental goals; will take initiative to identify areas for improvement, make recommendations, and coordinate actions to implement them; and will work closely with the Director and staff to foster a harmonious culture that supports job retention and career growth. Strict confidentiality of provider, patient, and staff information will be maintained in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:



  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.


Work Experience:



  • Five years of medical billing experience.
  • One year of lead or supervisor experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
  • Knowledge of the Epic billing system and Credentialing/Enrollment databases preferred.


Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
