Short Description

MRI Tech: They will need to work full time 40 hrs for the first 2 weeks before they begin their solo weekend shift beginning 9/6-7. They may need to be flexible and work day and/or evenings in order to orientate.

Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm

Job Summary

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
  • Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
  • Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
  • Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
  • Patient care tasks as needed


Requirements

  • Two (2) Years' Experience
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • MUST HAVE Client or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
  • Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting


Specific Equipment Familiarity

All Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.


Skills

  • Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - Highly desired
  • Two (2) Years' Experience - Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
