Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop multi-disciplinary facilities teams, including maintenance, security, grounds, and custodial staff
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures, and operational standards in collaboration with branch and corporate leadership
  • Manage facilities budgets, capital planning, vendor contracts, and service-level performance
  • Oversee inspections of buildings, equipment, and site infrastructure; implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs (CMMS)
  • Troubleshoot urgent issues to minimize downtime and maintain employee safety
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire/life-safety, environmental, and local code requirements
  • Oversee utilities and infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, dock equipment, and conveyors/material-handling systems
  • Track KPIs such as uptime, work-order completion, PM adherence, and costs, and develop action plans for improvement
  • Partner with operations on layout changes, expansions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a safety-first culture, leading incident investigations and corrective actions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in facilities management, ideally in industrial, warehouse, or distribution environments
  • Proven success managing large, complex facilities and multi-functional teams
  • Proficiency with CMMS, vendor management, budgeting, and capital project planning
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and OSHA/EHS compliance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to be on-site, with occasional after-hours/on-call support


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching or scaling new facilities in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics
  • Certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, OSHA-30, or EPA 608
  • Familiarity with conveyor and material-handling equipment (MHE) interfaces and reliability best practices
