Job Summary

The Site Lead Director oversees all operations at the Madison QCL semiconductor and manufacturing site, ensuring excellence in engineering, manufacturing, EHS, supply chain, and local staff functions including program finance, HR, and security. This role provides hands-on leadership to deliver on-site performance goals while aligning with business unit and corporate strategy.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead all site operations, ensuring performance in employee engagement, quality, safety, delivery and cost.
* Direct engineering, manufacturing, and technical operations to drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee EHS compliance and foster a proactive safety culture focused on prevention and accountability.
* Manage supply chain, procurement, and materials to support production continuity and cost effectiveness.
* Drive program management and execution to meet project scope, schedule, and budget goals.
* Partner with business unit teams in finance, HR, and security to maintain compliance, talent development, and site readiness.
* Manage site budgets, forecasts, and capital projects to ensure operational sustainability.
* Build and maintain a cohesive, high-performing team and a culture of transparency, collaboration, and integrity.
* Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, core values and culture of the organization.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical or Optical) required; advanced degree preferred.
* 10+ years of progressive leadership in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
* Proven experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and support functions.
* Strong strategic, financial, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across levels.
* Demonstrated success building culture, driving performance, and managing change in a dynamic environment.
* This is an onsite position located in Madison, WI. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work arrangements.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is($127,389/year- $197,771/year). This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates,bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
