Driver Trainee

County Waste, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a CDL Trainee to join our team inSouth Cairo, NY.

We will train you and help you get your Class B CDL for free!

The schedule will be Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday's.

Pay for this role is $20.00 per hour and then will increase to $26.00 per hour once CDL is successfully obtained

This is a labor-intensive position requiring regular heavy lifting.

We are looking for laborers who are interested in starting a driving career and grow, within the company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning equipment with pressure washer

• Picking up litter

• General site cleanup

• Container Assembly

• Other assigned laborer duties

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor/operator type position.

• Ability to safely use a pressure washer.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.

• Clean driving record
