Additional Skills & Qualifications Required: * BSc in Engineering or equivalent. * 5 years' or more of system engineering experience * Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows infrastructure, configuration, and administration that includes but not limited to group policy, active directory, Windows Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), and SQL Server. * Strong knowledge in scripting in PowerShell, JavaScript, Lua or equivalent for automation. * Strong knowledge in networking design, configuration, and administration. * Experience with network troubleshooting tools including Wireshark, Fiddler and/or Postman. * Working knowledge of project management duties. * The ability to travel and work for domestic and international projects * To reside in North America Preferred: * Prior experience working in the Electric utilities industry. * Experience in software development. * Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certification (MCP) or equivalent certification in relevant programs. * Experience in SCADA communications, including DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus and more. * Prior experience with SCADA devices including protective relays, communications processors, and terminal services. * Working knowledge of common substation transmission communication architectures. * Working knowledge of common distribution communication architectures.
