Structures Engineering Design Intern (Internship - Summer 2026)

HATCI is looking for a Structures Engineering Design Intern for Summer 2026!

• Gain knowledge of general Structures design for Underbody, Upperbody and Frames.
• Support GRIT and other tech sensing projects.
• Gain knowledge and experience in Safety, Durability, and NVH aspects of the BIW & BoF design.
• Benchmark competition for critical areas and report to management.
• 
  
  Gain experience in HATCI systems & processes
  
  
• 
  
  Assist lab technican(s) on 1 test project.
  
  
• 
  
  Acclimate to the workplace environment.
  
  
• 
  
  Work with other engineers both inside and outside the group to develop relationships.
  
  
• 
  
  Identify 1 technical issue and coordinate discussions to: a) define problem statement, b) identify solutions, c) compare & quantify potential solutions, and d) propose 1 solution to the team.
  
  

• Candidates must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
