Job Description: This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and optimizing oil and gas measurement, remote surveillance of general field operations and ensuring data reliability regarding production and sales.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure adherence to all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
• Support I&E supervisor and production foremen in field measurement devices and applications in accordance with company policies and Industry standards
• Oversee and direct the work of numerous contractors
• Exercise discretion to create, update, identify problems with, and recommend corrections to measurement surveillance tools to ensure adequate tracking and verification
• Cross-train with personnel for automation operations and problem solving techniques
• Monitor and analyze batteries and sales meters daily and as needed continually to ensure accuracy and compliance with Diamondback Energy Engineering and Production Standards
• Recognize inaccurate measurement on statements and daily reports and use independent judgment to recommend remedial measures to ensure issues are corrected in a timely manner and apply learnings to prevent future errors
• Contact appropriate personnel when measurement inaccuracies are identified and ensure corrected data is input appropriately
• Provide expertise during the project planning stage by reviewing measurement design and working with Engineering to ensure construction projects utilize field-friendly, accurate measurement devices
• Vacation relief for I&E Tech's / Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years' experience working in lease operations or measurement-related field
• Experience working in Oil and Gas and Exploration and Production.
• Self-starter requiring minimum supervision
• Work non-traditional and on-call hours, as needed.
• Frequent travel to field locations and trainings may be required.
• Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good leadership and verbal skills
