Bunge is seeking a Senior Manager to join our technical accounting and policy team, playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial future.

A Day in the Life:
As our Senior Manager, US GAAP & Accounting Policy, you'll be an integral part of our specialized technical accounting group. You'll be a key authority on all things US GAAP, not only interpreting complex accounting standards but also translating them into actionable policies and providing critical guidance that supports our business objectives and growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across our global operations within a high-performing team, where you'll advise business leaders, coordinate globally across functions (controlling, treasury, legal, tax, commercial), and facilitate training to ensure consistent US GAAP compliance and support growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Serve as a primary expert on complex US GAAP issues, providing authoritative advice and preparing/reviewing comprehensive technical accounting memos that stand up to scrutiny.
* Take ownership of developing, communicating, and maintaining Bunge's global accounting policies and practices, ensuring consistency and compliance.
* Analyze new accounting standards, develop robust implementation plans, and seamlessly integrate them into our operations.
* Design and deliver engaging US GAAP training programs and materials, fostering a strong understanding across various functions globally.
* Critically review the Company's quarterly and annual SEC filings, with a sharp focus on accounting policies and the adequacy of footnote disclosures.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
* Certified Public Accountant (US CPA), required, or equivalent.
* 6-8 years public accounting or 8+ years public/private accounting mix.
* Technical accounting knowledge and a demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and apply US GAAP are essential.
* Possess exceptional judgment skills, capable of reaching conclusions that have broad organizational impacts and are relied upon to structure complex arrangements.
* Ability to work constructively to minimize negative business impacts without ever compromising US GAAP compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in the Ag industry is a plus.
