Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $17-$18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Assembly role for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble electronic or mechanical products from blueprints using assembly fixtures and power bench tools - Cut and crimp wires, form, connect and perform simple soldering in accordance with instructions - Fit and align assemblies, recognize defective parts, inspect and test final assemblies on a variety of assembly operations - Count and record parts from inventory with accuracy using basic math skills - Communicate shortages, scrap and delays when applicable - Operate small hand and power tools - Perform cuts, crimps, connections and solder as required - Assemble products to Work Order specifications - Package product for shipment - Use computer software to locate and print assembly drawings Assembly Requirements: - High school or general education (GED) required - Ability to complete standardized written documentation and correspondence - 2 years of mechanical or electrical assembly preferred - Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office - Ability to use hand tools up to 80% of shift - Ability to stand up to 100% of shift - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds up to 10% of shift QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
