Position Title: Fabricator Wage: $17.00 - $20.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday Join our team as a Fabrication Technician and turn raw materials into precision-built parts that meet the highest standards. You'll read blueprints, operate advanced machinery, and ensure quality every step of the way. Fabricator Responsibilities: - Safely operate various machines, such as CNC machines, punch presses, laser cutters, and other fabrication equipment - Accurately read technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to fabricate parts to exact specifications - Perform inspections to verify dimensions and quality of fabricated parts, ensuring they meet company and industry standards - Manage raw materials and ensure that they are prepared, organized, and stored correctly for fabrication processes - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to avoid downtime - Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any hazards immediately - Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, including waste reduction and process optimization Requirements For Fabricator: - High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in manufacturing or machining preferred - 1-3 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment; experience with CNC or laser equipment is a plus - Familiarity with blueprint reading, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting skills - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods; must be comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
