This team works with internal & external stakeholders to guarantee Stellantis supply with Raw materials at the best economic conditions under Social & Environmental responsibility (ESG) and to drive their disruptive transition to a Zero Carbon footprint. The Sustainability team is responsible to:
- Define and lead the Raw Materials life cycle analysis strategy - in particular towards CNZ (Carbon Net Zero) in 2038,
- Define and lead the Global ESG strategy for all Raw Materials
Directly attached to the Global ESG leader, and for all Stellantis Purchased Raw Materials, in close connection with the business development and purchasing team. The ESG leader will:
- Define Stellantis ESG strategies with the internal stakeholders (business development team, technical team, buyers)
- Oversee all internal and external reporting requirements to ensure this accurately reflects the business' working practices and is in line with regulatory and with expectations of all the stakeholders
- Implement a set of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics to measure, monitor and report on progress and communicate/present performance data across the organization and to Stellantis stakeholders, by commodity, by region
- Actively promote and communicate ESG practices
- Participate with the IT & Data management team to define the processes and the way to measure / drive the ESG quotations
- Ensure that the standards and policies set out for suppliers and the processes to ensure compliance with them meet regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations, in particular for potential M&A (Merge & Acquisition)
- In case of need, represent the Company in working groups and communicate on your discipline and your activity during international congresses / seminar
- Source ESG auditors to perform quotations on the field and guarantee the quality of their deliverables by doing random audits on site (on Supplier or potential future partner's sites)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive-related experience
- Proven ability to critically analyze and evaluate reports from subcontractors and raw material suppliers
- Strong skills in compiling accurate, data-driven reports
- Capable of delivering clear verbal presentations to diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, senior management, and external partners
- Familiarity with mineral asset disclosure practices
- Understanding of sustainability and social value issues, including relevant safety codes, standards, and procedures
- Knowledge of sustainability assessment standards specific to the mining industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, purchasing, finance)
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments is highly valued
- Experience in developing and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both management and operational staff
- Ability to synthesize complex information to support decision-making processes
