Domestic Operations Coordinator

Staffmark is seeking a Domestic Operations Coordinator to manage shipments, support customers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving and multitasking.

Pay & Schedule

$28.50/hour | 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling, routing, and arranging transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and cargo manifests.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and proactively solving issues.
• Enter data, create rate quotes, and maintain customer accounts in SEKO RED NA and other systems.
• Track shipments, provide status updates, and communicate with customers on delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Security, C-TPAT, hazardous materials regulations, and packaging standards.
• Assist with departmental administrative tasks, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Participate in workplace safety initiatives and comply with all company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of domestic and international logistics coordination experience
• Minimum 2 years freight forwarding experience; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of multimodal logistics, TSA, C-TPAT, and hazardous materials procedures
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Accurate data entry and typing skills; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• High School Diploma or GED required
