Material Handler (Seasonal) - Orlando Service Center

Location: 9695 Delegates Drive, Suite 504, Orlando, FL 32837

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

  • Must be available to work through busy holiday schedule, including Black Friday, Christmas Eve, through New Year, etc. Overtime may be required during peak period.
About the Role

As a Material Handler at Columbia Sportswear Company's Orlando Service Center, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are received, labeled, inventoried, and shipped accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations. You'll work in a fast-paced distribution environment using a variety of equipment and systems to move and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming products and apply appropriate labeling.

  • Build boxes based on pick labels, load onto carts, and pick items to designated boxes.

  • Verify packing accuracy, seal cartons, and route to shipping.

  • Dispose of empty cartons and maintain a clean work area.

  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and ensure unit accountability.

  • Operate manual or powered material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers).

  • Maintain open, positive communication with team members and leadership to support smooth operations.

Requirements
  • Ability to fluently understand and communicate in English.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Comfortable working in a physically active role and using warehouse equipment.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
