Great Waters Federal is seeking Travel Support Coordinators to support one of our government customers. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be local to the greater Washington, DC area to accommodate occasional on-site meetings at short notice.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Receiving, reviewing, and authorizing travel requests
  • Reviewing and processing travel vouchers
  • Ensuring travelers' compliance with the Federal Travel Regulation and the agency's travel policy in all transactions
  • Supporting travelers who are making and booking their own travel arrangements
  • Booking travel for stakeholders when needed
  • Providing customer support by phone, email and through an automated help desk system
  • Facilitating cross-training between domestic and foreign travel teams
  • Tracking workload volume and supporting performance metrics reporting


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Four years of relevant work experience
  • Experience coordinating travel from pre-travel authorization through voucher approval
  • Customer service mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them
