In the Pharma Services Assay Development team at Tucsonr, we develop and validate robust prototype assays for implementation in a clinical laboratory.

As a Research Associate, you will be in a fast-paced group working closely with our pharma partners to provide patients with personalized healthcare solutions. You are responsible for executing laboratory experiments and project activities under supervision and you prepare experiment data for internal and external communications.

Also in this role you are:

• Performing work according to established internal safety guidelines and procedures, and as specified by appropriate external regulatory agencies (SHE, OSHA).
• Accountable for electronic notebook documentation, ensuring experimental methods and results are recorded timely, accurately, and consistently, and according to established formats.
• Preparing and presenting results and project status at internal and external meetings under general supervision.
• Participating in routine lab maintenance and troubleshooting

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field and a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required
• Equivalencies are acceptable if you hold a Master's degree and have no experience
  

Preferred behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant

• Strong familiarity with development and validation of laboratory developed tests under regulated CAP-CLIA environment
• 1+ year experience in operating BenchMark ULTRA automated stainer
• Ability to scan slides using a variety of scanners including VENTANA DP600 and Leica GT450
• Strong communication skills and experience presenting experimental results to clients
• Familiarity with with digital pathology platforms including HALO Desktop and HALO Link

The expected salary range for this position, based on Tucson, is 45,900.00 - 80,500.00 USD annually.Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
