Overview

VTG is seeking a Management Analyst II (Fleet Management) to provide product support and in-service logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-275 V-22 Osprey Joint Program Office. Specifically, provide fleet management support to the Fleet Management Leads at PMA-275 Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, MD within the Fleet Management Integrated Product Team (IPT).


What will you do?

  • Provide sustaining logistics support to the V-22 Fleet Management IPT at the V-22 Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Maryland.
  • Analyze Product Support/Fleet Management requirements and operational site requirements for V-22 aircraft modifications and document all Program Requirements for decision making by Senior Program Office personnel.
  • Identify and support the V-22 Fleet requirements within a sustainment environment to satisfy urgent operational site needs while planning aircraft modification programs.
  • Monitor, track and report modification requirements trends and anomalies, making recommendations for improvements to the business processes.
  • Analyze Fleet data, in conjunction with Fleet Management IPT and Level II IPT acquisition planning to assist the aircraft modification planning with prioritization and implementation of engineering changes and readiness initiatives

Do you have what it takes?

Education: BS or BA degree.

Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience - At least seven (7) years of experience in operational logistics support or product support acquisition with proven track performance and increased duties. Experience must include: Three (3) years in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of Product Support elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command/operational command. Three (3) years of DoD modification support experience to include specific experience in Fleet Management planning. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics requirements analysis, data drills, and weapons systems requirements documentation and management.

Allowable Substitution: An MS or MA degree can be substituted for two (2) years operations logistics experience.

Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required. Remote work from a V-22 Fleet concentrated location.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; well developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established maintenance/business processes, identify/document maintenance/business process problems and recommend maintenance/business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the V-22 aircraft modification mission.

Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) Life Cycle Sustainment Planning, roles and responsibilities; b) Fleet Management / Modification Management / c) Product Support / Integrated Logistics Support Requirements; d) Navy / Marine Corps / Air Force / Special Operations Command Mission Requirements; d) NAVAIR Engineering Change process; e) In-service sustainment activity roles and responsibilities and f) Management Information System utilization and reporting.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $95,000-$110,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
