The Business Data Architect serves as a crucial link between the Sales Operations and Business Intelligence teams, driving data-driven decision-making by structuring, analyzing, and interpreting complex healthcare datasets. This role is a hybrid between a business analyst and a data architect, requiring both technical expertise and business acumen.

Primary Responsibility:

  • The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL coding, adept at handling large datasets, and experienced in working with EPIC data and other healthcare-related sources to create meaningful insights that support strategic growth initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data-focused role; 3+ years with solid hands-on experience in programing languages, such as Python, R, SQL, or similar
  • Solid proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools for data transformation and integration. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Ability to translate business requirements into data models and analytics solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant healthcare industry experience working within healthcare data systems, preferably with EPIC data
  • 2+ years of experience working outside of the IT department. Microsoft SQL Servicer Certifications or Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate Power Bi Desktop Specialist Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
  • Familiarity with healthcare payor and provider analytics, including claims, membership, and utilization data

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
