As the Senior Manager of First Line Risk for Deposits, you will lead risk management across consumer and business deposit products and services. You'll own risk processes, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory and enterprise standards. Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the risk owner for deposit-related processes, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and monitored.

  • Lead execution of the RCSA program, process mapping, and ongoing monitoring for deposit operations.

  • Oversee initiative risk assessments (IRAs) for new products, services, and system changes.

  • Manage issue remediation and event resolution, ensuring timely closure and root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to improve processes and strengthen controls in line with regulatory expectations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on deposit-related regulations, including Reg E, Reg CC, and UDAAP.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders on audit and exam readiness, risk reporting, and control testing.

  • Develop and mentor risk analysts and specialists, fostering a strong first line risk culture.

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years in banking or financial services

  • 3+ years in risk, audit, compliance, or control-related roles

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field

  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)

  • Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)
