Job Overview

  • Create and maintain customer master data.
  • Provide support to all departments regarding the SPS systems.
  • Assist in the design phase, UAT test creation and testing for specific system enhancements and projects.
  • Specifically support RPO requirements for Project Monarch.
  • Manage the 5S program in the Admin building (effective audits, office patrols, ensure 5S is included in all process improvement activities)
  • Coordinate and lead Kaizen Events in the Admin building as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

The SPS specialist is tasked with implementing master data modifications, understanding the SPS landscape to provide problem-solving, training, and technical support to all departments, supporting Project Monarch and other enhancements and projects. This role involves contributing to design discussions, developing user acceptance testing (UAT) protocols, and testing these projects. The specialist is also responsible for driving the 5S process in the Admin building by managing audits, activities, and results. Additionally, when required, the specialist will support the Admin Kaizen program through Kaizen facilitation, team selection and management, data collection and analysis, development, and implementation of process improvements


Qualifications/Requirements

Required Skills:



  • Education required: High School diploma
  • Experience required: Strong understanding of the functionality of the SPS systems (P-mates, KPP, Oneslogi, Flagship).
  • Certification required: N/A
  • Travel requirements (include details such of number of nights per month, regional travel by car, domestic/international travel by airplane, etc): N/


Preferred Skills:



  • Ability to identify problems, define problem statement clearly and accurately, and apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify data-driven root causes.
  • Absolute integrity and honesty in all dealings with employees and senior management.
  • Proven ability to positively drive cultural change, create flexibility when necessary, and motivate personnel to achieve stretch goals.
  • Ability to train, develop and motivate personnel

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
