Your Opportunity Taylor Corporation is looking for a reliable and motivated Equipment Operator to join our 2nd shift team. We're willing to train the right person - someone who works quickly, pays attention to detail, and brings a strong sense of urgency to getting the job done right. Your Responsibilities * Run and adjust printing press equipment to meet job specs while following company quality standards * Complete routine maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly) to keep equipment running smoothly * Mix and prepare inks to ensure proper color and consistency * Review paper stock for type, size, color, and quantity before each run * Verify plates are set up correctly * Monitor forms throughout production to maintain quality * Work with your Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust when deadlines shift * Follow all safety guidelines for equipment and the work area Your Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday - 4:00pm - 2:00AM You Must Have * Reliability and a strong work ethic * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused on deadlines * Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn new equipment * High degree of attention to detail * Good reading ability and basic math skills Requirements Within This Position * Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand * Regularly required to remain in a stationary position * Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials * Frequently required to move inside the facility * Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer * Must have ability to work with very close tolerances * Ability to effectively communicate with team members * High degree of analytical skills * Good color discernment The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
