Director of US Pricing

The Director of US Pricing will be responsible for developing and driving the pricing strategy, execution, and governance. This role is a key strategic partner and influencer in the business to position and grow the business through strategic pricing and margin enhancement.

Job Duties

  • Lead and execute pricing strategies in partnership with Field Sales, Strategic Accounts, Product Management and Marketing for all new and existing products and brands.
  • Own and deliver strong tactical price execution to exceed business goals.
  • Act as strategic partner to analyze market dynamics, competitor strategies and customer behavior to develop actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement long term plans to develop pricing infrastructure including processes, advanced analytics, and right technology.
  • Develop a best-in-class pricing team and talent to drive strategic culture in the organization.
  • Develop KPI reporting that is actionable and helps field leadership drive margin growth.
  • Own and deliver Company's Website Pricing based on sales and pricing trends in conjunction with Product Managers. Leverage data analysis in the development of price strategy by product and brand categories to achieve the company's sales, margin and overall profitability goals.
  • In depth understanding and execution of B2B Rebate Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics or Finance (MBA is preferred).
  • 10+ years of business experience in B2B environment.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Pricing, Finance, or Business Operations.
  • Experience building and leading teams in fast paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP Pricing modules and SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WebI)
  • Experience with Vistex Software products
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
